Before your session
Shave the area 12 to 24 hours before. The laser needs the root in the follicle, so stop waxing, plucking, threading and sugaring 4 weeks ahead. Skip bleaching creams for the same period. Avoid sun tanning for 2 weeks. Tell the branch about any new medication, especially antibiotics, acne treatment such as isotretinoin, or anything that makes skin sensitive to light.
On the day
Arrive with clean, dry skin on the area: no body cream, deodorant, perfume or makeup. Wear loose clothes over treated areas.
Right after
Mild redness and warmth are normal and settle within hours. A cool compress or a plain soothing gel helps. Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, pools and intense workouts for 48 hours.
Between sessions
Shave only. Use SPF 50 on exposed treated areas. Exfoliate gently after the first week to help shedding hair come out. Keep to your session dates.
When to call the branch
Contact your branch on WhatsApp if you notice blistering, crusting or redness that lasts more than two days.
